Thank you for your interest in becoming an endorsed event or activity of the Colorado Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Commission. The intent of this process is to promote and encourage recognition of the Lincoln Bicentennial in Colorado.
Benefits of Endorsement
Colorado Lincoln Bicentennial Commission Endorsed Projects receive:
- Mention on the CLBC website, www.CoLincoln200.org
- A link to the national ALBC website
- Permission to use the CLBC logo on any promotional materials, in accordance with CLBC graphic standards
- A letter of endorsement from the CLBC
Funding Limitations
Endorsement is not tied to potential or actual financial support from the Commission or any of its partners.
Endorsement Criteria
Event or activity must clearly show that it fully meets at least one of the Commission’s goals, as specified on the application form
Event or activity must be fully accessible and open to the public
The Process
To be eligible for endorsement review, complete the “Application for Endorsement by the Colorado Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Commission.” There is no deadline. Applications may be submitted by email or regular mail to:

Your application will be reviewed by the Commission’s Endorsement Committee. You will be notified of the Committee’s decision within three weeks of the receipt of your application.
Ineligible Applications
The CLBC will not endorse the following:
- Individuals (i.e. candidates for public office) or organizations
- For-profit ventures
- Projects that discriminate on the basis of race, age, or sexual orientation
- Projects whose purpose is direct political or social action
Responsibilities and Expectations for Endorsed Projects
Endorsed Projects must confirm via email or regular mail their acceptance of the CLBC’s endorsement
Endorsed project will be asked to submit an evaluation report within 30 days of completion of the event or activity
The CLBC reserves the right to include images, names, locations, dates, and other information about endorsed projects in its own statewide promotion of Colorado’s Lincoln Bicentennial commemoration
