The presenters listed are not evaluated or managed by the Colorado Lincoln Bicentennial Commission. Speakers are responsible for providing descriptions of their presentations to interested organizations. Organizations should contact presenters directly and negotiate terms for appearances.

D. Reid Ross is a retired city planner and family historian living in Durango who recently completed Lincoln’s Veteran Volunteers Win the War (SUNY Press, 2008). Years in the making, the book is about Union volunteers — including his own grandfather — passionately committed to emancipation, who enlisted as Union soldiers for the entirety of the Civil War.
